Campus Operations Coordinator (Campus Operations)
Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Campus Operations Coordinator to provide a safe and functional environment for the School of Education. This role involves supporting operational functions, coordinating maintenance and security, and managing logistical activities necessary for the school.

Responsibilities
Contribute to goal setting and identify program operational requirements to meet programmatic goals
Obtain and utilize internal and external resources to meet program goals
Serve as primary contact for the program with internal departments and external organizations
Responsible for monitoring budget expenses, processing invoices, performing budget reconciliation, and assisting with budget development
Compile documentation related to funding and finance
Identify and resolve programmatic problems
Assist with planning events and coordinate preparation, set up and logistics for events/functions
Coordinate communication activities via websites, social media channels, and publication materials as needed
Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting of program activities
Inspect, document and report facility items that may create a safety or security issue
Follow up on tickets or work orders for both emergency and non-emergency repairs
Conduct building inspections as part of a quality assurance program
Inspect for vandalism, damage, and check on status of open work orders
File appropriate maintenance requests and work orders for necessary follow-up
Inspect, document, and report any housekeeping or maintenance areas that are not clean and well-maintained
Receive deliveries for School of Education and provide oversight of receiving areas
Sort mail, receive and sign for packages
Communicate mail/package delivery to recipients when applicable
Communicate daily building activities to and provide general guidance to security staff
Maintain and routinely update records of building security equipment and access
Provide support for daily activities including special events and scheduled classes
Participate and help plan emergency response and building evacuation procedures
Active role in developing and enforcing policies and procedures related to safety and security for SOE
On call or non-standard work hour requirements Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including evening and occasional weekend hours
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or graduation equivalent
Four years progressively responsible administrative experience
Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including evening and occasional weekend hours
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with current and prospective students, full-time and part-time faculty, staff, and the public
Ability to work collegially in close coordination across all administrative and academic departments, at all organizational levels
Documentation and reporting. Organized, with the ability to recognize and document relevant and accurate information
Proficient in the fundamentals of facility operations and maintenance, including recognizing system malfunctions, and hazardous situations and understanding the steps to resolve them
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
