Vice President, Development
Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead its fundraising initiatives and strategies. The role involves managing a professional staff of fundraising professionals and developing relationships with donors to secure transformational philanthropy for the institution.

Responsibilities
Lead the overall frontline program strategy and integrate fundraising areas: Individual Giving, Foundations, Corporate Relations, Research and Grant Management, and Transformational Giving
Maintain and build an individual, dynamic portfolio of primarily transformational prospects
Focus on ways to ensure completion of the academic and capital priorities as part of the Campaign
Deliver customer-centered development operations and provide primary leadership and oversight of all frontline fundraising staff
Implement the comprehensive, multiyear business plan, budget, and fundraising strategy to augment staffing expansion and optimize performance across all fundraising programs and portfolios
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of eleven years of relevant experience to include at least 5 years in a leadership role
Preferred
Twelve years of direct fundraising experience, seven years of supervisory experience, and direct experience leading and managing a complex team
Membership in Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE)
