Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Eaton is a leading company in the manufacturing sector, and they are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support plant leadership in improving manufacturing processes. The role involves executing strategic plans, driving cost-saving initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities
Develop and guide cell layouts and manufacturing flows for safety, productivity, ergonomics, and efficiency. Maintain standardized work elements and lead process innovation
Identify hazards, ensure equipment meets specs, enforce safety standards, and train teams on safety practices
Lead cost-out and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. Drive metrics, visual controls, and accountability in process improvements
Conduct root cause and failure analysis. Apply and teach critical thinking to improve cost, quality, and performance
Participate in design reviews and new product development to ensure manufacturability. Lead and track PROLaunch project deliverables and metrics
Lead cross-functional projects, manage budgets and timelines, and coordinate communication across teams and stakeholders
Drive and sustain process changes using ADKAR and other change management techniques
Guide equipment selection and develop Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) for new initiatives
Use advanced tech to enhance information systems and reduce waste in factory floor data flow
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of engineering experience, including internships

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Graduate degree preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment
Detailed knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques – i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, 5S, Standard work, visual controls, etc
