Data Assistant (Dept. of Population, Family & Reproductive Health)
Inside Higher Ed is seeking to hire Data Assistants to support their research project, EMBRACE, which focuses on helping young adults who have lost a caregiver. The role involves conducting interviews, assisting with data collection and analysis, and participating in training and team meetings.

Responsibilities
Assist with data collection and data analyses
Provide assistance and support in organizing and summarizing data
Assist with the creation of reports and presentations
Assist with validating data and data collection processes
May perform research or research-related activities related to data
May assist in the design of data collection processes and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Participate in a 10-hour training
Attend twice-monthly team meetings
Maintain a thorough understanding of all assigned protocols and reporting requirements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or graduation equivalent
Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula
Preferred
Experience conducting qualitative research
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to complete assigned tasks and request clarification for due dates or expectations as needed
Comfortable and skilled at interacting with young people who have experienced the loss of a caregiver
Ability to assess for distress or mental health needs and refer appropriately
