Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to clinical operations in non-nursing resident care activities at nursing stations, or households in a professional and timely manner
Process forms for admissions, readmissions, discharges and resident transfers
Schedule resident medical and other appointments, labs and x-rays, arrange for resident transportation, complete outpatient and necessary forms, transcribe physician's orders by computer or manually, maintain resident medical records
Manage the nursing supplies and equipment of the household

Required

High School Graduate
One year experience as a Medical Secretary or (1) year experience in long term care as a NAR or TMA
Medical Terminology
Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
