Start in 2026 SummerRS&H provides fully integrated architecture, engineering, and consulting services. They are currently seeking an Accounting Services Intern in their Jacksonville, FL office, where the intern will gain hands-on experience in multiple accounting responsibilities including Billing, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.

Responsibilities
Supporting day-to-day activities
Contributing to special projects
Helping reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
Reviewing outstanding accounts receivable
Assisting Accounts Payable with processing invoices
Performing month end payroll accounting functions
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited university
Have a passion for numbers and a commitment to details and accuracy
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess strong knowledge of Excel
Possess strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with others
Excellent written and oral communication, listening, and proofreading skills (grammar, punctuation, etc.)
Must thrive in a team environment with the ability to also be self-motivated and work independently
Able to effectively manage time, multi-task, pay close attention to details, and meet deadlines
Preferred
Familiarity with GAAP accounting rules, auditing and financial statements
Information systems dual studies a plus
