DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop, enforce, and maintain plans, processes and infrastructure to execute programs which support rapid maturation and deployment of capability while sustaining a stable security posture and incorporating ongoing stakeholder feedback
Integrates development pipelines leveraging automation with test-driven development tools and continuous integration/test frameworks
Implements provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging, componentizing, or Cloud distribution
Functions with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback
Ensures implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Required

Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with at least 2 years of related experience; Master's with 0 years of experience
U.S. Citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance prior to starting
2 years of experience in DevOps and software configuration management or within a related area
2 years of experience in configuring and administering DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines/Runners to streamline CI/CD processes
2 years of experience with coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
2 years understanding SCM principles, concepts, industry practices and standards is required
2 years of experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell
2 years of experience with Agile methodology and working as a member of a software development team in an Agile environment
A current/active clearance is not required to be considered for the position, but a final clearance is required to start

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical area
Experience with implementing SCM on a large-scale program
Experience with software source control and configuration management tools and environments (Atlassian, Git, Jira, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Linux and Windows)
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
