Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
Proven leadership experience at Director or senior manager level
Extensive B2B marketing experience across multiple organizations
Deep experience embedded in, working alongside &/or being a service provider to the organization's sales
Experience leading in matrixed, multi-division environments
Candidate located in or near Bakersfield, CA
Strong expertise in shopper insights, category analytics and retailer/customer engagement
Experience developing and growing commercial brands, whether retailer private label or proprietary
A valid driver's license with a clean DMV record
Preferred
Produce or fresh foods industry experience desirable but not required; (Consumer product goods (CPG) experience advantageous, though in a different way)
Project management, product development &/or B2C omnichannel experience helpful and better equip the candidate to engage with, and 'speak the same language' of, departmental peers
Familiarity/ well-connected within Kern County San Joaquin Valley growing area highly desirable
