This newly created department focuses on driving business and care transformation to achieve significant financial performance improvements through cost reduction and revenue growth, while overseeing a team and managing complex enterprise-level portfolios.

Responsibilities

Support the Executive Director with the annual TMO portfolio identification process in alignment with strategic, facility and budget planning efforts
Collaborate and strengthen partnerships across departments and with senior leadership to define, prioritize and resource projects in line with organizational needs and priorities
Maintain TMO central intake/request process and assign projects to team members based on experience, skill set, relationship with senior leaders and capacity. Identify need for external support as needed
Prepare and update senior leadership on portfolio and project status, issues, risks, and dependencies and evaluate and share value realization by coordinating and leading the TMO Steering Committee and providing updates at other senior leadership meetings
Lead, guide, inspire and mentor team to support their professional development and ensure successful execution and continuous improvement of project delivery. Provide goal clarity, facilitate removal of barriers, and ensure organizational alignment
Coach and communicate TMO standard methodology and tools across the organization to drive standardization, repeatable processes, and consistency across projects by applying evidence-based project management and performance improvement knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques
Develop and is accountable for TMO budget for the portfolios they oversee
Keep abreast of cutting-edge trends and innovations in transformation and performance enhancement

Required

Bachelor's Degree
6+ years of experience in healthcare, management consulting, strategy, project management and/or performance improvement
3+ years of leading a team with direct reports
Strong verbal and written communication skills across different levels of employees and management with ability to influence without direct authority
Strong process skills with attention to detail and organization
Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize disparate sources of data
Ability to function independently and in a team-based environment and prioritize workload
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (word, outlook, powerpoint, excel, teams)

Preferred

Master's degree (MHA, MPH, MBA)
Project Management Professional certification
Six Sigma or Lean certification
Knowledge of DMAIC methodology
Clinical background/licensure
Experience working with physician and nursing groups
Strong domain knowledge in digital consumer engagement/care transformation/operations efficiency, consumer access, care management, pharmacy operations, lab operations and a high performing medical group
Experience working with strategy, finance, information technology, human resources and legal
Strong domain knowledge in revenue cycle, payor contracting, supply chain, labor productivity and benefits
