Inside Sales Representative

Shermco Industries is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join their Sales and Marketing team. The role involves conducting analysis of sales data, assisting with email marketing campaigns, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior management while working primarily in a remote capacity with some travel required.

Responsibilities

Design, execute and analyze qualitative and quantitative data about customers, competitors, industry
Research and analyze regional and branch target accounts for updates to projects, contacts, and plants/facilities
Generate leads for Territory Account Managers within the region through drip marketing campaigns and project leads
Leverage data to identify key customer insights
Provide on-going analysis, trends and ad hoc analysis for regional sales team
Prepare written reports and presentations to management to ensure clear understanding of information and implications
Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings, sales meetings and any other functions which would foster greater of team challenges and goals
Acts as a secondary point of contact to customers
Communicate and present critical data, report summaries, market analysis and strategic recommendations to all levels of management

Financial analysis skills

Ability to interface with business development and senior management
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening

Preferred

1-2+ years of relevant experience in a finance, engineering, sales, marketing intelligence or strategy role
Proven track record in analysis and insight
Bachelors Degree in marketing, analytics, business or other related fields preferred
Professional writing experience desirable
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
