Environmental Compliance Project Manager

They are seeking an Environmental Compliance Project Manager to manage EHS projects, lead air permitting and compliance efforts, and mentor staff while ensuring exceptional client service and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage EHS projects for our clients, providing exceptional client service while maintaining project schedules and budgets
Lead air permitting and compliance projects with BAAQMD, SCAQMD and other air districts in California
Prepare reports for our clients to follow guidance and regulations designed by EPA, DTSC, local CUPAs, Fire departments, Water boards, and other federal, state, and local government agencies
Assist with permitting requirements and documentation (air quality, wastewater, Tiered Permitting, storm water, etc.)
Mentor CDMS staff on air permitting projects
Conduct training for employees of client companies
Conduct monitoring (air monitoring, soil sampling, etc.)
Conduct compliance audits
Provide ongoing compliance support to clients
Provide various other support activities to clients to assist with their compliance efforts

Required

3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (Master's degree a plus)
Strong knowledge of California EH&S regulations including air quality, hazardous materials/waste, stormwater and wastewater, and health & safety compliance with expertise in at least one field
Strong experience in environmental consulting with a focus on air permitting
Excellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to clients
Comfortable conducting trainings for groups of 10-40 people
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and environmental compliance software
Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred

Professional certifications (PE, CPP, PG, CHMM, etc.) highly valued
Strategic thinking abilities with a talent for anticipating client needs and regulatory trends
