InternRenesas Electronics is a leading embedded semiconductor solution provider, and they are seeking a Test Engineering Intern/Co-Op to join their PAT Operations Group in Palm Bay, Florida. The intern will collaborate with experienced Test Engineers to assist with transferring automated test solutions and gain hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines while contributing to the development of Radiation Hardened ICs for the Space Industry.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced engineers to learn and understand varying processes across Probe, Assembly, and Test
Learn to operate/run ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) and Pick-N-Place Test Handlers
Designing hardware and developing code to replicate existing ATE Solutions on newer test platforms/handlers under the guidance of experienced Test Engineers
Analyze processes for possible improvements or automation
Conduct Data Analysis on both existing and new handler solution
Prepare qualification plans to be presented to a multi-disciplinary Review Board
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be working towards a BS or MS in Microelectronic Engineering (MicroE) or Electrical Engineering (EE)
Familiar with Statistical Concepts as it relates to manufacturing (i.e. Mean, Std. Dev, SPC, CPK, Gage R&R, ANOVA)
Strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and/or SQL
Lab Proficiency - Experience with using scope and bench setup
US Citizen due to ITAR Requirements
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Detail oriented with strong communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to work collaboratively with others
Preferred
Familiarity with statistical analysis software, JMP, is preferred
