Director of Data Intelligence & Data Analytics
Kforce has a client that is a rapidly growing financial technology company in the Phoenix area, seeking a Director of Data Intelligence and Analytics to lead its data and software capabilities. This strategic role involves defining the organization's strategy for modern data and software platforms, driving cloud migrations, and overseeing program execution while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of data and software capabilities
Define and guide the organization's strategy for modern data and software platforms
Architect secure, scalable systems built on modern technologies
Lead efforts in Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering best practices
Drive cloud migrations, legacy modernization, automation initiatives, and the adoption of next generation data capabilities
Design and oversee cutting edge data architectures that power high volume data pipelines, real time insights, and advanced analytics
Support AI/ML, predictive modeling, and intelligent automation
Translate data into actionable business outcomes
Mentor and develop cross functional engineering teams
Oversee program execution including vendor management, budgeting, and resource planning
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7 within the first 12 months of employment
Proven experience leading data driven initiatives that deliver measurable business results
Comfortable operating in fast paced environments and passionate about the transformative power of AI, machine learning, and real time analytics
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and executive audiences
Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Deep experience designing scalable, secure, and modern software systems using technologies such as .NET, Python, Azure, and cloud native architectures (e.g., microservices, API first design, real time data processing)
Proven ability to architect and deliver modern data platforms, including high volume data pipelines, real time analytics, and advanced data modeling
Knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases (Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL) and data visualization/analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R, and Python
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation technologies
Demonstrated success leading Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices to accelerate software delivery and improve engineering quality
Experience driving cloud migrations, legacy modernization, and enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
Ability to manage full program lifecycles including planning, execution, governance, vendor management, and budget/resource oversight
Proven leadership experience guiding and mentoring cross functional teams of software engineers, data engineers, and technical specialists
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
