Audio Visual Specialist - ITS-Ops-Network
The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to provide technical support and assist with installation and maintenance of audio, visual, television, and video conference systems. This role involves support across multiple campuses, participation in an on-call rotation, and managing various audiovisual systems.
Responsibilities
Assists with installation of video conference systems for departmental and other project requirements
Provide entry-level support of telemedicine audiovisual systems
Manages the performance of video conference and television systems
Documents via wiring diagrams, conference room installations
Assists with multi-point conference setup
Provides audiovisual technician support to departments when requested for special events
Assist with day-to-day video conference schedule coordinating support for multi-point video conferences
Provide support for issues related to audiovisual equipment, video conferencing, and television services
Assist with television system or conference room design, installation, testing, support, and documentation
Assists with support of the enterprise digital signage system
Provides required support for equipment inventory
Participates as a team member
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
Performs related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
Excellent customer support, communication, and organizational skills
Strong time management and documentation habits
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred
Strong IT networking knowledge (certifications a plus)
