Responsibilities

Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Day-to-day and month-end journal entries
Daily balancing and monthly account reconciliations
Accounts payable coding and submissions
Monthly, quarterly and annual payroll commission calculations
Expense tracking, income and expense variance analysis
Ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Supporting external and internal audits
Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Some overtime should be expected during month and quarter close

Required

Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field
4+ years of prior accounting experience
Microsoft Suite – prior use of and strength in excel in particular

Preferred

Relevant work experience in banking, real estate or LIHTC programs
Experience with processing employee compensation
Flexibility, Professionalism, and Attention to Detail are all critical qualities
