Assist, plan and conduct in a wide variety of analytical and administrative functions related to human resources in the area of recruitment, classification, compensation, benefits, employee and organizational development, risk management and loss prevention

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public, business or human resources administration, finance, accounting, business management, international business, information systems, communication, communication design, marketing, economics, economic development, political science, English, psychology, social science, sociology, behavioral science, or criminal justice
OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in public, business or human resources administration, finance, accounting, business management, international business, information systems, communication, communication design, marketing, economics, economic development, political science, English, psychology, social science, sociology, behavioral science, or criminal justice and two (2) years of experience performing human resources analytical work in the private or public sector
OR Four (4) years of experience performing human resources analytical work in the private or public sector
A valid driver's license may be required at the time of appointment and employees may also be required to drive their own vehicle and provide proof of liability insurance as per Vehicle Code VC § 160020
This position may require pre-employment drug test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for a background investigation
