Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for the reliable, efficient, and innovative delivery of applications that enable Chico State’s administrative and business operations
Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for supporting and enhancing a diverse portfolio of university systems
Ensure that projects, implementations, upgrades, and integrations are executed effectively and aligned with institutional priorities
Build strong partnerships across the Division of IT, with campus stakeholders and external vendors, to drive strategic technology investments, continuous improvement, and user satisfaction
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence in support of the University’s mission and IT Strategic Plan
Qualification
Required
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Three (3) or more years of experience managing or leading IT application support or development teams
Preferred
Experience with enterprise application ecosystems or integrations
Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks
Demonstrated commitment to EDI and customer service excellence
