Responsibilities

Perform the operational tasks required to generate broker and other commission type payments
Under supervision, review broker agreements, external third-party data, and collaborate with Sales to vet, contract, and onboard new brokers; provide ongoing support during the lifecycle of the broker relationship
Under leadership direction, contribute to the implementation of Channel Operations reporting, systems, and process improvement changes, M&A integration and automation projects to evolve a Brand Broker Experience. Update fit-for-purpose SOPs, onboarding guides, and lifecycle playbooks as required
With oversight, generate business and financial analysis models as required, conduct Financial and Business Reporting on broker commissions, as well as Ad-Hoc reporting requests by management and other key stakeholders
Resolve customer issues & support root cause analysis to determine if there are broader impacts
Performs all aspects of work with a high degree of effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience in high-volume transaction processing/billing, back-office operations, or operations analysis and reporting
Strong problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred; concentration in Economics, Finance, or Business preferred
Energy industry experience preferred, especially an understanding of utility and the deregulated energy market
Advanced Excel skills; demonstrated expertise in utilizing other Microsoft office applications and reporting tools such as Power BI
Highly driven and self-directed; solid mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate findings, and make recommendations
Effective at working independently; managing multiple activities and meeting deadlines
