Responsibilities
Designs and implements complex compliance project and activities as well as performs project management
Assists with compliance quality assurance and monitoring efforts
Carries out projects in support of the organization’s Compliance Program and regulatory submissions
This involves data validation, quality assurance, and working with cross-functional teams
Supports Compliance management on compliance special projects and in the compilation and distribution of routine compliance correspondence and reports
Manages administrative activities related to the regulatory compliance activities
Plans and organizes meetings and/or events to include developing meeting summaries/minutes, issues logs, etc
Conducts research on regulatory requirements
Expands working knowledge of federal and state requirements, accreditation standards, and/or contractual requirements and assists in accomplishing full compliance
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Related Field
At least 2 years of project coordination experience in compliance in a managed care setting working with a Managed Care Organization (MCO) and managing reports/projects mandated by regulatory requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to develop various templates
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Related Field
