Responsibilities

Own complex business problems and drive data-driven strategies by analyzing performance metrics, identifying key trends, and surfacing strategic insights to find opportunities for growth
Drive improvements in performance and campaign effectiveness through in-depth analysis of marketplace dynamics, bidding optimization, and rapid testing
Prioritize and define projects - partner cross-functionally with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineering, Agency and Business Development to scope and solve business-critical challenges, and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives
Translate ambiguous questions into structured analysis, delivering clear and compelling recommendations and presenting strategic findings to technical and non-technical leadership. Interface with company leadership on your insights and recommendations
Use technical analytical skills to extract, manipulate, and automate reporting, operations, and data modeling from multiple sources. Prior expertise in Python, R, SQL or willingness to learn is a plus. Leverage your technical skills to automate operations, reporting, and modeling
Build and maintain scalable analytical capabilities, and support the development of key performance dashboards and recurring reports that inform operational decision-making
Conduct ad hoc deep-dives to identify levers for margin expansion, cost efficiency, or conversion optimization
Document business requirements and collaborate with teams to improve workflows, reporting capabilities, and internal systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in a business, quantitative, or technical field (Economics, Engineering, Business, Finance, Statistics, or similar)
2–4 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g. business analyst, strategy analyst, operations analyst, or similar)
Technical proficiency including proficient in SQL, Excel — capable of writing queries and building tools without relying on others
Proficient in data analysis and with an understanding of statistics
Clear communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable stories who can simplify complex ideas
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a high degree of business acumen and a curiosity for how things work
Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement
Ability to keep all company-sensitive data secure
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privately without disruption
Must live in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred

Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries (bonus, not required)
Prior expertise in Python, R, SQL or willingness to learn is a plus
Comfortable BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc)
