Responsibilities
Leverage deep industry knowledge across the Utility and Oil & Gas sectors to support clients in analyzing their carbon footprint across various scopes and guide them in defining and executing their decarbonization strategy and goals
Lead engagements to help clients deploy net zero energy technologies including hydrogen, carbon capture, direct electrification, systemic efficiency, and circularity, to deliver year-over-year performance improvement in alignment with Science Based Targets and Climate Goals
Leverage core consulting skills and industry expertise to understand and structure the clients' challenges; develop hypotheses on solutions; undertake market and trend assessments and develop business cases to unlock value and guide clients on their sustainability transformation
Lead workshops and interviews with senior client stakeholders to identify opportunities to achieve decarbonization goals, reduce operational costs, and drive sustainable growth through innovation-led business models and operating model transformations
Analyze technical and financial data to generate insights for the client. Introduce frameworks and methodologies such as zero-based budgeting, digital operations, sustainable operating models, and smart energy production
Build client relationships and develop sales pipeline through opportunity, proposal, and commercial phase
Support knowledge building efforts such as developing offerings, assets, capabilities, and relevant thought leadership and engage with the wider Sustainability community across Accenture globally
Lead high performing multidisciplinary teams, leading by example, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities
Qualification
Required
Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field
Must have 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in the consulting industry
Must have 5 years of experience in leading strategy consulting team connected to the energy and utilities industries
Must have 5 years of experience in performing business operations in asset-intensive resources industries
Must have 5 years of experience in performing qualitative analysis, research, and business case development
Must have 5 years of experience in applying management consulting tools and frameworks including business models, operating models, and business capability frameworks
Must have 5 years of experience in utilizing digital technologies, including data analytics tools, digital twins, and artificial intelligence, to solve clients' complex business and decarbonization problems
Must have 5 years of experience in leading presentations and workshops with executive-level audiences and driving sales opportunities
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs
