Engineer II, Lab Operations Common Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities
Sub‑fab sustaining: Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting on pumps, abatement, chillers, HX units, and heater jackets; escalate complex failures as needed
Tool install participation: Lead portions of installation work such as utility verification, space checks, parts staging, vendor coordination, and install task execution under guidance from senior engineers
Gas and utility readiness: Verify gas panel configuration, support gas line checks, and ensure alignment with BU and facilities expectations
Documentation: Maintain accurate myLab configuration, equipment logs, install notes, and change documentation
Small projects: Execute minor retrofits, like‑for‑like replacements, and low‑risk equipment modifications
Safety: Follow all hazardous energy, gas panel, and sub‑fab safety protocols; participate in incident reviews and pre‑task planning
Qualification
Required
3–6 years in semiconductor equipment engineering, sub‑fab operations, field service, or tool installs
Competent in vacuum systems, gas panels, mechanical systems, and utility interfaces
Able to interpret schematics, P&IDs, and facilities drawings
Strong troubleshooting foundation with willingness to grow into system‑level ownership
