Responsibilities
Manage and process accounts payable, employee expense reports, cash control, and total firm payroll tax compliance
Manage and process accounts receivable aging components including billing, cash receipts, etc.; quarter and year-end payroll closing including federal and state reports
Participate in the annual financial statement internal review
Participate in the firm’s annual 401k plan audit
Preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards
Respond to Partners with accurate and timely work to facilitate their financial needs
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and develop a variety of special reports
Communicate with co-workers, firm management, and others in a courteous and professional manner
Works in a demanding, deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
Regular and timely attendance
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience (preferably in public accounting or professional services)
Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance, accounting, or a related field
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Current and valid driver's license
Proficient in QuickBooks (QBO and Desktop)
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred
Proficient in CCH Practice Management or CCH Axcess Practice
