They are seeking an experienced Family or Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient care to underserved communities, including direct patient care and collaboration with support services.

Responsibilities
The physician acts as the Primary Care Provider (PCP) who has been assigned to the patient
Take care of the patient’s immediate medical needs
Undertake medical evaluation, including history and physical examination, laboratory, X-ray, referrals, or other diagnostic studies
Evaluate the patient and develop a problem list
Develop treatment objectives and plans
Initiate treatment orders and procedures
Educate and counsel patients to promote positive health behaviors and disease prevention
Work closely with clinical staff in coordinating and obtaining needed services for patients and families
Consult with the Clinical Director, as necessary
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have a current license to practice medicine in the State of California
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
Must have a current DEA License
Must possess a current CPR Certification
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
Experience working with Electronic Medical Records
Preferred
Proficient in English and medical Spanish
