Responsibilities
Supervising GME financial analyst positions, including senior financial analysts and business analysts
Serving as a trusted financial partner to Hospital CFOs, GME Directors and GME AVPs
Interpreting data concerning financial trends and forecasts
Preparing monthly analysis and reporting on financial statements, including reviewing reimbursement trends
Utilizing statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports such as pro formas, projections and other ad hoc requests
Overseeing the annual projection and budget process for all supported hospitals, including leading each facility’s GME budget presentation
Training hospital executives on GME finance dynamics
Assisting in the development of new processes for proper allocation of costs
Presenting complex financial insights to hospital CFOs and executive leaders in a clear, compelling way
Managing financial operations for GME Groups generating approximately $500M in revenue
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is required
A minimum of 5 years in a financial analyst or accounting role, preferably in healthcare
Advanced Excel and database usage/knowledge are required
Knowledge of accounting theory, principles and practices sufficient to identify and describe accounting systems and sub-systems
Knowledge of the financial accounting process
Knowledge of research techniques to analyze and evaluate financial data
Knowledge of accounting information systems
Ability to analyze and interpret large financial datasets
Preferred
Master's Degree in Accounting is preferred
Previous experience in a supervisory role a plus
Project Management experience is strongly preferred
Senior in Big 4 audit environment a plus
Hyperion Essbase, Business Objects, HOST (General Ledger), MicroStrategy, Power BI, and AI desired
