InternTarlton Corporation is searching for an experienced Project Engineer Intern at their HQ facility. The role aims to prepare the intern for a full-time Project Engineer position by exposing them to various aspects of the construction process and coordinating construction activities.

Responsibilities
Becoming familiar with all aspects of current project documents and scope of work
Reviewing shop drawing submittals in a timely fashion
Assisting in coordinating construction activities
Helping to obtain permits
Assisting in quantity takeoffs and confirmation of work quantities installed
Developing pricing skills
Soliciting material and equipment quotations
Working in conjunction with the Superintendent
Participating in estimating activities
Assist in schedule development and management
Develop scopes of work for inclusion in purchase orders and subcontracts
Prepare jobsite meeting agendas and minutes
Review subcontractor and supplier invoices against work completed to date
Participate in the quality control/assurance program
Participate in jobsite safety walks
Assist in LEED documentation process
Assist in project close-out procedures
Qualification
Required
Current college student seeking a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree
