Responsibilities

Cross-sell and refer credit union products and services
Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services and direct members to appropriate department for specific information and service
Receive and process member financial transactions either in person or through the mail/night drop, including, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; verify cash and check endorsements; sell money orders, official checks and stamps to members; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed
Balance cash drawer and daily transactions, prepare cash sheet and bundle work that is sent to the Accounting department nightly
Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including, but not limited to, filing, computer input and answering the telephone
Other duties as assigned
Deliver member service that meets Quality Loop standards

Required

Up to six months of similar or related experience
A high school education or GED
Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job
Calculator and computer keyboard by touch
Operate money and coin counters, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment as needed
Must be good with number and name detail
Job requires standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs of coin
