Cyber Security Firewall Administrator (Remote from anywhere in CO)
The Colorado Department of Revenue is seeking a Cyber Security Firewall Administrator to join the Governor's Office of Information Technology. In this role, you will focus on enterprise firewall administration, including maintaining and securing network assets and performing vulnerability assessments to enhance security measures.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, secure, monitor and maintain physical and virtual network assets to include internal, external, cloud and shared assets
Configure, monitor, and maintain security of firewalls
Perform vulnerability scans, establish plans to address risks and coordinate resolution of findings
Monitor performance of firewall assets and perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose issues, identify solutions, and implement permanent fixes
Support periodic and focused network assessments related to security, performance, or capacity
Perform security Audits to identify risks and recommend improvements to strengthen security
Qualification
Required
A minimum of three (3) years of increasingly challenging work experience in information security, which must include experience in firewall administration (maintaining, upgrading, testing, and implementing firewall configuration changes as well as assessing the impact of changes on applications and other related systems)
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Professional certification to include: Network+, Security+, CCNA, SNCF, PCNSA, etc
