Responsibilities
Actively prospecting and developing new wholesale accounts for all Farmers’ Market Foods and APEX Wild Game product lines
Managing and growing an existing book of wholesale customers through repeat orders, cross-selling, and seasonal programs
Building strong, long-term customer relationships through direct communication and proactive account management
Presenting product assortments, pricing structures, and merchandising strategies tailored to each customer
Collaborating internally on pricing, promotions, packaging configurations, and seasonal offerings
Tracking sales activity, pipelines, and performance metrics to ensure consistent growth
Providing feedback from the field to inform product development, packaging, and sales strategy
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in wholesale food sales, specialty food, CPG, or related industries
Strong account development and relationship-management skills, with a focus on repeat business
Demonstrated ability to prospect, close, and grow direct wholesale accounts
Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales data, margins, and customer performance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with clear performance goals
Preferred
Familiarity with shelf-stable food products, meat and cheese categories, or giftable food items is strongly preferred
Experience with e-commerce or Amazon wholesale programs is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not required with relevant experience
