6+ years expPiper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a major player in the financial services industry on a long-term contract. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will work across the full technology stack, designing and implementing high-quality, cloud-ready solutions with modern frameworks and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/SQL
Implement and support front-end features using modern web frameworks such as Angular and/or React
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation using Jenkins, GitHub, and related deployment tools to support efficient, reliable releases
Collaborate with Systems Analysts, SDETs, and other engineers within Agile squads to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver high-quality features
Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and support test automation and quality best practices across the stack
Qualification
Required
6–10 years of hands-on software development experience with strong full stack capabilities (Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL/PostgreSQL)
Practical experience building and supporting front-end applications using Angular and/or React
Experience working with containerization and cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform is a plus)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), Git-based workflows (GitHub), and Agile methodologies
Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative mindset
Preferred
Prior financial services experience
