Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team ranging from 80 to over 200 employees during peak times
Monitor and drive shift performance against goals for productivity, quality, service, and equipment utilization
Hold employees accountable for productivity and quality standards while providing daily constructive feedback
Monitor daily and weekly shift staffing levels against production requirements to meet efficiency goals
Ensure new employees are properly trained and cross-trained to meet production needs
Identify opportunities for process improvement, applying problem-solving methods to find root causes and implement solutions
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating staff on the proper use of resources and ensuring organizational policies are followed
Participate in crossover meetings to ensure smooth transitions across shifts and maintain professional relations with peers
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years in production management within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing/production management experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
SAP experience is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient in English
