Responsibilities

Build large and small components of life rafts using many different types of materials
Document required steps and signatures for quality assurance
Follow quality procedures and documentation accurately
Bond materials together using adhesives
Maintain high levels of quality
Maintain high levels of safety for yourself and others and responsible for wearing/using defined PPE (personal protective equipment)
Work and communicate effectively in a complex team environment
100% of time spent on production floor with variable amounts of noise
Constant daily exposure to adhesive and solvent vapors
Ability to wear gloves (including latex) to protect hands while working with production chemicals
Minimal exposure to machinery with moving parts
Ability to use and manipulate clamps, brushes (with gloves on), pushers, scissors, seam tape and talc

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems

Manufacturing/assembly experience
Ability to wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment
Must be able to individually lift and/or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds
