Responsibilities
Customer focus as primary point of contact with internal and external customers; providing frequent, specific updates regarding current projects
Ultimately accountable for assigned projects from concept to completion; effectively managing project schedules and margins
Technical ability to interpret customer specifications and provide a design which meets all requirements, especially quality and schedule
Responsible for ensuring a quality drawing package is released to manufacturing
Create BOM’s, maintain schedules, and update QC forms
Recognize a need for and identify areas for product and process improvements
Work safely in and around energized electrical enclosures
Customer visits (travel approximately 10% of the time)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related field or Associate's Degree with Utility Systems Certificate; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
1 to 3 years of experience in related engineering, co-op or internship role, or five years of experience working on a Systems Control project management team
Knowledge and understanding of the company's product offering and customer needs
Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits
Exposure to reading schematics and wiring diagrams
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven analytical & problem-solving skills
