Responsibilities

Set ambitious expectations for all students and take responsibility for their academic progress in Computer Science
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote deep understanding, problem-solving, and higher-order thinking
Create a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment rooted in high standards of behaviour and mutual respect
Use assessment data to monitor learning, adjust instruction, differentiate support, and provide timely, meaningful feedback
Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues regarding student progress, achievement, and wellbeing
Participate actively in professional learning, reflect on teaching practice, and implement strategies to improve student outcomes
Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and wider NAE initiatives, fostering collaboration and global citizenship

Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field

Demonstrates expert knowledge of Computer Science content and effective instructional practices
Designs coherent sequences of lessons that deepen understanding and build complex skills
Uses formative and summative assessment to guide instruction, diagnose learning needs, and provide actionable feedback
