Responsibilities

Responsible for the ongoing Database Administration for a live application along with the configuration and management of Q Replication of data using the IBM Infosphere Data Replication (IIDR) suite

Qualification

IBM Db2 for z/OS AdministrationIBM Infosphere Data ReplicationSQL tuningOptimizationDatabase AdministrationReplication technologies

Required

Expertise in database administration and replication technologies
Strong understanding of Db2 for z/OS architecture, storage structures, and system performance tuning
Proficiency in Db2 system parameters, logging, backup, and recovery strategies
Experience with Db2 utilities (e.g., REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, RECOVER)
Knowledge of SQL tuning and optimization for Db2 on z/OS
Deep understanding of IBM Q Replication concepts
