Lead/StaffVO Engineering is a geotechnical engineering consulting firm specializing in geotechnical investigations, soils testing, and construction inspection services. The role is for an entry level staff engineer/geologist who will perform field investigations and provide earthworks construction support.

Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of field investigations and earthworks construction support including: site recon and research, borehole logging and in-situ sampling, laboratory testing, soil classification, accurate and detailed documentation of field activities
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil Engineering/Geology
Proficiency in Communication, including written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively on-site and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or Geology, or a related field
Preferred
Familiarity with earthwork and foundation construction
4x4 vehicle is a plus
Working knowledge or experience in the utility market (e.g. energy market) is an advantage
Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) is a plus
