Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing Contract Success team. The focus is on boosting deal cycle efficiency and mitigating negative user experiences that arise from contractual errors
Strategic Direction and Performance: Set the strategic direction and pace for the team within a rapidly growing, data-driven context. Establish, track, and improve performance metrics to measure the team's effectiveness and efficiency. Provide regular updates and progress reports on key initiatives and metrics to senior leadership
Operational Optimization: Collaborate with Engineering teams to develop and implement systematic solutions that streamline and enhance operational workflows
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner effectively with various internal stakeholders—including, but not limited to, Accounting, Billing, Business Practices, Commercial Legal, Deal Pricing, Deal Strategy, Engineering, and Tax—to ensure commercial objectives are aligned and deal designs are optimized
Stakeholder Management: Build trust and credibility through consistent, effective communication and program management
Contract Process Management: Oversee the contract review process, managing inquiries and escalations to ensure smooth and timely execution

Required

10+ years of operations experience with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred
5+ years of managing a high-performing team, with proven leadership skills focused on team development and cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated experience in contract management, monetization strategies, or a comparable role in a high-energy environment
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Experience working in ambiguous, quickly scaling, and high-agency environments, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-centric organization
Skilled in data analysis and performance metrics development
Detail-oriented, with the ability to visualize the larger impact of a series of transactions and comfort working with manual and automated processes
Able to quickly earn trust through communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Experience building and scaling teams from the ground up, defining the functional space and setting strategy and pace
Deep understanding of the Payments or SaaS domain, with experience scaling a deal management or contract audit function
Lean Six Sigma or related certification
A builder's mindset, passionate about creating new systems and solving problems via infrastructure and automation, and a willingness to question assumptions
