Responsibilities
Under direction of the Cardiovascular Services Director coordinates administrative/clerical activities for Cardiovascular Departments of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, EP, and Non-invasive Cardiology
He/ She performs high level administrative duties, including maintaining communication with Physician offices, responding to patient family members, assist Director with correspondence, report preparation in addition to other duties as assigned by the director
Assist with scheduling clinical procedures in all Cardiology departments and will make periodic visits to PCP and Cardiologists offices to maintain good working relationship, and address any issues which may arise
All procedures must be scheduled in a timely, accurate and courteous manner with the least inconvenience to the patient
Qualification
Required
Coordinates administrative/clerical activities for Cardiovascular Departments of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, EP, and Non-invasive Cardiology
Performs high level administrative duties, including maintaining communication with Physician offices
Responds to patient family members
Assists Director with correspondence
Prepares reports in addition to other duties as assigned by the director
Assists with scheduling clinical procedures in all Cardiology departments
Makes periodic visits to PCP and Cardiologists offices to maintain good working relationship and address any issues which may arise
Schedules all procedures in a timely, accurate and courteous manner with the least inconvenience to the patient
