Chief Credit Officer
Bank of Luxemburg, proudly recognized as a 2025 Top Workplace, is seeking a strategic and community‑minded Chief Credit Officer (CCO) to join our Executive Team. The CCO provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Bank’s credit administration, underwriting standards, portfolio quality, and credit risk management practices, ensuring sound credit decisions and regulatory compliance while shaping the Bank’s credit culture.

Responsibilities
Providing direction, coaching, and development for the Credit Department to ensure strong performance and adherence to policy and regulatory standards
Overseeing underwriting quality, loan presentations, risk ratings, and credit approval processes to ensure sound credit decisions
Managing the Bank’s loan review, real estate valuation, and environmental processes to identify trends, mitigate risk, and maintain portfolio quality
Leading the Collections and Special Assets functions, including delinquency management, workouts, and legal proceedings
Presenting timely and comprehensive loan portfolio reporting to the Board of Directors, including CECL, concentrations, delinquency trends, and criticized assets
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of experience in credit and risk management, including supervisory responsibilities
Deep knowledge of lending, credit, collections, and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
The ability to lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams
A professional presence and the ability to build trust across the organization and community
