Create and maintain projects under the guidance of the project manager
Translate Field Technician notes (site verification) into CAD using AAON standard Facility Drafting Department protocol
Qualification
Required
Prepare AutoCAD drawings per given site verification (SV) or direct instruction
Create and maintain projects under the guidance of the project manager
Translate Field Technician notes (site verification) into CAD using AAON standard Facility Drafting Department protocol
Minimum 1-3 years of AutoCAD experience in building construction layout related field (i.e. civil, structural, architectural, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical)
Must be proficient with AutoCAD 2D using Model Space/Paper Space Layouts
Must be proficient using both singular and multi-file organization within a single project
Must be able to take direction and work with little oversight
Must be organized and keep up project record logging
Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Preferred
Prefer some formal college level education in related fields (i.e. Engineering Graphics)
Familiarity of basic building construction including codes, restrictions, and regulations
Knowledge of other CAD programs encouraged (other 2D drawing and/or modelers)
