Responsibilities
Drive the engineering strategy, mentor team members, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver complex end-to-end AI solutions
Architect and implement robust systems in ambiguous problem areas where both the business problem and solution approach need to be defined
Take ownership of the long-term technical vision, product roadmaps, and technologies, defining how they should evolve
Build consensus through thoughtful discussions with stakeholders, scientists, and engineering peers across multiple teams
Provide context for current and future technology choices, and make strategic recommendations on system architecture and implementation approaches
Qualification
Required
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques
