Responsibilities

Partner with the product marketing team to create and refine compelling content in a variety of forms (collateral, webpage copy, blog posts, emails, ad copy, newsletters, and more) that speaks to our audience of K-12 administrators and educators and helps us stand out from the crowd
Partner with product marketing and communications to refine social media strategy for products
Drive SEO and content optimization strategy to connect content with prospects and, in turn, drive MQLs
Provide strategic consult on SEM, working with internal CL and vendor partners
Lead and complete writing projects that include multiple rounds of review with various stakeholders and subject matter experts
Think outside the box and strategize new ways of using content to engage our audience

Required

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Proven track record in content marketing and copywriting, with a portfolio of ad copy, email copy, web copy, blogs, newsletters, brochures, video scripts, etc
Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and goals, effectively tailoring content to resonate with K-12 administrators and educators
Deep understanding of educators' current needs and trends in the education industry
Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience optimizing content for search engines, driving organic traffic, and improving online visibility
Proven ability to blend UX writing with SEO and accessibility practices to create content that resonates with a diverse audience
Knowledge of data-driven content marketing strategies, including the ability to analyze content performance metrics and make data-backed decisions to optimize content effectiveness
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple writing projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines

Preferred

Experience with literacy and/or world languages education markets preferred, but not required
