InternAmica Insurance is seeking an Equity Investments Intern to join their investment department for Summer 2026. The intern will support the team managing a $1.5 billion equity portfolio by conducting research, participating in portfolio discussions, and preparing materials for investment meetings.

Responsibilities
Support equity research by gathering company and industry data, reviewing earnings releases and SEC filings (10K/10-Q) and tracking news and catalysts
Participate in portfolio discussions – share news flow, ask questions and contribute to open debates
Prepare materials for meetings and investment discussions (slides, charts, and exhibits)
Perform other assignments as requested to support the investment department and its goals
Learn and use research platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled undergraduate in finance, economics, accounting, or business-related field
Coursework in Financial Accounting and Corporate Finance required
Foundational skills – ability to interpret financial statements, strong attention to detail, and clear written communication
Required experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong academic credentials
Curiosity about markets and willingness to learn fundamental equity research methods
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and operate in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Investments coursework strongly preferred (Student Investment Fund experience is a plus)
Familiarity with Bloomberg/FactSet is a plus (not required)
