2025-2026 Instructional Aide
Ednovate Inc is a growing organization dedicated to providing quality college-prep education through its public schools. The Instructional Aide will support students with Individualized Education Plans by providing academic and behavior support, working closely with the Special Education Teacher to ensure a positive learning environment.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Provide academic and behavior support. Adapt classroom activities and materials, assignments, and assessments, provide instruction in individual and group settings, and assign homework and make-up work under the direction of the supervising teacher to reinforce classroom objectives and meet IEP goals. Monitor assigned students’ daily schedules and appropriately manage student behavior, implementing behavior support plans and strategies as needed to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Support special education systems and compliance. Communicate with supervising instructional staff, student programming leaders, health care professionals, and professional support personnel on a regular basis to assist in evaluation of student progress and/or implementation of class and/or IEP goals and objectives. Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate. Maintain appropriate documentation, records, and reports. Maintain confidentiality of students and families as mandated by district, state and federal regulations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferred
Prior school experience supporting students with special needs, preferred
