Responsibilities
Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, provide cost estimate, and collect patient financial responsibility
Manage the doctor's schedule and any communications with patient and referring offices
Provide concierge level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication
Update and maintain patient insurance information
Maintain doctor schedule to ensure efficient use of the doctor’s time
Partner with clinical team to ensure excellent patient experience
Adhere to deadlines and prioritize work against the patient schedule
Collect payments from patients in an effective and professional manner
Understand doctor treatment recommendations and develop treatment plans from diagnosis
Effectively communicate treatment options and associated costs to the patient
Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Highschool diploma or equivalent required
One year of customer service experience required
Preferred
Medical or dental experience preferred
Bilingual/Trilingual preferred, but not required (English, Spanish and Creole)
