EPSC Inspector / Environmental Assistant

Summers-Taylor, Inc. is the largest heavy and highway construction contractor in Northeast Tennessee, established in 1932. They are seeking an Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control (EPSC) Inspector/Environmental Assistant to perform site evaluations, manage documentation, and assist in maintaining stormwater and erosion control reports at various construction sites.

Responsibilities

Traveling to all of Summers-Taylor, Inc. projects when needed
Aid in maintaining state stormwater and erosion control reports
Aid in maintaining mobile rock crusher records
Assist in collecting stormwater samples
Meet with personnel including TDEC inspectors, project managers, subcontractors, etc
Manual installation of wood or steel 4 X 4 posts by using post hole digger and shovel
Documentation and record keeping
Additional tasks as assigned by leadership

Qualification

Erosion Control CertificationCivil Site Plans InterpretationOffice 360 ProficiencyValid Driver’s LicenseAutoCAD KnowledgePhysical Lifting Ability

Required

HS Diploma or above required
Proficient Office 360 knowledge required
Ability to read and interpret civil site plants
Valid Driver's License
Ability to lift 50lbs +
Must be able to physically bend, kneel and squat

Preferred

AutoCAD knowledge is a plus, not required
