Manager, Enterprise Applications (Salesforce) (Remote from anywhere in CO)
The Colorado Department of Revenue is focused on innovating for a stronger Colorado through the Governor's Office of Information Technology. The Enterprise Applications Manager will lead a team focused on Salesforce application development, ensuring effective operations and customer service management while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the team.

Responsibilities
Actively engage in improving leadership skills, attitudes, and knowledge, especially as related to equity, diversity and inclusion. Attend training, development and group training on topics of inclusive leadership
Provide Operations and Customer Service Management for Salesforce Application Development teams
Work within OIT processes and standards and industry-leading practices to ensure outcomes for application and feature design and planning activities for applications within the team’s portfolio
Provide People Management by being responsible for the daily supervision of regular, on-going staff
Develop staff performance plans on an annual basis and conduct a minimum of 2 performance reviews per year (progress review and annual). Plans should include metrics that align with department and organizational goals
Practice Budget Management by identifying and presenting recommendations for upcoming budget needs based on department business objectives
Qualification
Required
4 years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, to include experience with the Salesforce platform
Experience must include at least one year performing at the level of Senior/Lead/Matrixed Leadership in a relevant position
Preferred
High familiarity with a variety of software development methodologies such as Agile and a strong understanding of the suitability of these methodologies for certain development environments and types of applications
Comfortable in a hands-on role, driving application development to completion, and capable of working closely with the team to monitor the progress of assigned work
Detail-oriented with strong analytical aptitude
Ability to work with peer organizations to translate IT processes (e.g., System Development Life Cycle, Governance, etc.) and tool strategies (e.g., project management, collaboration, knowledge warehouse, etc.) to support the day-to-day work efforts of the individual departments, driving towards greater efficiencies and higher quality deliverables
Demonstrated knowledge around metrics as it pertains to product and application deliverables (quality) and work effort (time)
Strong communication, organizational, prioritization and leadership skills
3 years working with the Salesforce system
Salesforce Administrator certification preferred
