Himmel's Architectural Door & Hardware is a family-owned company with over 40 years in the commercial door and architectural specialties industry. They are seeking an Accounting Specialist responsible for maintaining documents, billing, and balancing all projects until completion.

Responsibilities

Complete invoicing and processing monthly pay applications using industry-specific software
Submit billings through multiple customer websites
Scan and file electronic copies of all project-related documents
Communicate with Project Managers and customers regarding updates on all projects
Conduct project audits
Assist with Accounts Receivable and Contract Controller tasks when necessary
Proficiently utilize Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, & Outlook)

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age
3 years Billing experience
1-year Accounting experience
Advanced proficiency with Excel software
Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team
Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and a positive and helpful demeanor
Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs
Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens
