Responsibilities

Conduct molecular biology bench work, including precise protocol following, ultracentrifugation, and sample purification using precipitation or magnetic beads
Maintain mammalian cell lines using CO2 incubators and biosafety cabinets, ensuring sterile techniques and proper centrifugal processing
Manage procurement processes by obtaining quotes, submitting requisitions for reagents/equipment, and coordinating with vendors for delivery and installation
Prepare complex liquid chromatography buffers using pH meters, analytical scales, and fume hoods while handling acidic and basic chemicals safely
Ensure the lab adheres to BSL-2 safety standards, maintains accurate chemical inventories, and follows strict hazardous waste disposal protocols
Synthesize experimental findings and progress into professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint for PI review and lab meetings

Required

Bachelor's degree and one year experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
