Responsibilities

Learn the responsibilities involved in the administration and enforcement of existing Southern Ute Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) and TERO Code
Administer the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) contract
Receive quarterly evaluations and pay increases
Complete the apprenticeship curriculum within the designated time frame

Required

Must be an enrolled Southern Ute Tribal member
Must have an AA/AS in Human Resources (HR) Management, Business Administration, or related field OR 3 years of experience in office management
Must have general knowledge of the processes involved in conducting interviews and/or investigations
Must have general computer experience in software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have general knowledge of recruitment, interview, and hiring processes
Must have general knowledge of budget development and/or administration
Must have a valid Driver's License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy
Must pass a thorough criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test

Preferred

Supervisory experience
Knowledge of / or experience in general aspects of construction business
Experience working with Native Americans
Experience working with TERO compliance regulations
Experience conducting interviews and/or investigations
